Corrugated bar gratings [type A]
The corrugated bar grating is often used in the petrochemicals and offshore industry. This type of grating is standard for well-known companies such as SHELL and AKZO Nobel. It is used for walkways but also for structures that are subject to extremely heavy loads, for example as a result of heavy traffic.
The Type A grating is constructed from bearing bars with a centre-to-centre spacing of 38 mm for a thickness of 3 mm or centre-to-centre spacing of 40 mm for a thickness of 5 mm. The corrugated bars are connected to the bearing bars with a spot-weld joint.

corrugated bars are available in 2 and 5 mm thicknesses
maximum bearing bar length is 6,000 mm
maximum width is 1,560 mm
gratings are available smooth and in single or double anti-slip
The corrugated bar gratings can be supplied with an antislip serration on both the bearing and the corrugated bars.
