Corrugated bar gratings [type A]

The corrugated bar grating is often used in the petrochemicals and offshore industry. This type of grating is standard for well-known companies such as SHELL and AKZO Nobel. It is used for walkways but also for structures that are subject to extremely heavy loads, for example as a result of heavy traffic.

The Type A grating is constructed from bearing bars with a centre-to-centre spacing of 38 mm for a thickness of 3 mm or centre-to-centre spacing of 40 mm for a thickness of 5 mm. The corrugated bars are connected to the bearing bars with a spot-weld joint.
